The new company plans to distribute 20 theatrical titles a year and will also develop \u201chigher profile\u201d projects.<\/p>\n<p>Level 33 will continue to manage films from its existing library. Blue Fox will also handle sales and direct distribution in specific international territories.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTechnology is only making the world smaller as a greater variety of content is being made available globally almost instantaneously,\u201d said Level 33 CEO Andreas Olavarria. \u201cWe are excited to partner with the respected Blue Fox team in providing an exceptional worldwide distribution solution to quality content.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Blue Fox was launched in 2015 by Todd Slater and James Huntsman and has sold over 30 titles since including \u201cBig Bear,\u201d \u201cHavenhurst,\u201d \u201cShortwave\u201d and \u201cUnleashed.\u201d Level 33 was founded in 2010 and recently released \u201cCopenhagen\u201d; the indie romance \u201c1 Night,\u201d starring Anna Camp and Justin Chatwin; and \u201cMountain Men,\u201d starring Chace Crawford and Tyler Labine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAndreas and his team bring a tremendous amount of expertise and a wealth of relationships across the distribution landscape, providing an ideal foundation for us to build upon in the coming years,\u201d Slater and Huntsman said.<\/p>\n<p>View this article at <a href=\"http:\/\/variety.com\/2017\/film\/news\/independent-movie-distributors-blue-fox-level-33-merging-1202017756\/\" target=\"_blank\">Variety<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Independent movie sales-distribution companies Blue Fox Entertainment and Level 33 Entertainment have merged operations, Variety has learned exclusively.
