EXCLUSIVE<\/strong>: Golden Globe and Emmy winners\u00a0Henry Winkler<\/a>\u00a0(Barry<\/em>) and Brian\u00a0Cox\u00a0(Succession<\/em>) are set to star with\u00a0Emma Roberts<\/a>\u00a0(We\u2019re the Millers<\/em>) and Golden Globe and Emmy nominee\u00a0Evan Rachel Wood<\/a>\u00a0(Westworld<\/em>) in comedy\u00a0Old Pals<\/em>, which will be directed by Emmy winner Wendey Stanzler (Sex And The City<\/em>).<\/p>\n Based on a screenplay by Rick Cisario, the fun-sounding film follows comical opposites and recent widowers, Ira (Winkler) and Jimmy (Cox), who are forced to become friends by their conspiring daughters (Roberts & Wood). Their initial stubbornness gives way to a journey of unexpected friendship, proving that family has a way of bringing even the most unlikely people together.<\/p>\n Neon International will represent the foreign sales rights and introduce the film at the European FIlm Market in Berlin next week while CAA Media Finance and Verve Ventures will represent the North American rights.<\/p>\n Debbie Liebling (Jules<\/em>)\u00a0will produce for Inner Child Productions alongside Kim Bailey and Isabel Marden for Corporate Witchcraft (Clementine<\/em>).<\/p>\n Stanzler is known for her work in TV comedy and drama series including\u00a0Sex and the City, Parks and Recreation, Party Down, You\u2019re the Worst<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0For All Mankind<\/em>.<\/p>\n Winkler is well known for his iconic role in\u00a0Happy Days<\/em>\u00a0and more recently,\u00a0Barry<\/em>. Cox\u00a0is still riding high off his epic turn as Logan Roy in HBO\u2019s dark comedy\u00a0Succession<\/em>.<\/p>\n American Horror Story<\/em>\u00a0actress Roberts serves as an executive producer on the Hulu hit series,\u00a0Tell Me Lies<\/em>, under her Belletrist Productions banner, which she co-founded alongside Karah Preiss.\u00a0The Ides Of March<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Frozen<\/em>\u00a0actress Wood is best known for\u00a0Westworld<\/em>.<\/p>\n Stanzler is represented by Verve Talent and Literary Agency and managed by Damato Entertainment.
