The American Cinema Editors (ACE<\/a>) has announced its winners for the 2025 ACE Eddie\u00a0Awards<\/a>,\u00a0which recognizes \u201coutstanding editing in 14 categories of film, television and documentaries.\u201d<\/p>\n

Emilia P\u00e9rez\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Wicked<\/em>\u00a0won in the feature film categories, while\u00a0The Wild Robot\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Will & Harper<\/em>\u00a0won best animated feature and documentary feature, respectively.\u00a0What We Do in the Shadows<\/em>,\u00a0Shogun<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Baby Reindeer<\/em>\u00a0won in the TV categories, among others.<\/p>\n

The 75th annual ceremony celebrating the best editing of the year was originally set to take place on Jan. 18 before it was\u00a0postponed due to the L.A. wildfires<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At the event,\u00a0Wicked<\/em>\u00a0filmmaker\u00a0Jon M. Chu<\/a>\u00a0received the ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year Award; and film editors\u00a0Maysie Hoy and\u00a0Paul Hirsch\u00a0received career achievement awards.\u00a0Conclave, Dune: Part Two<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Emilia P\u00e9rez<\/em>\u00a0were among the drama feature film nominees while\u00a0Anora<\/em>,\u00a0Challengers<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0The Substance<\/em>\u00a0were included in the comedy film nominees. In the TV categories,\u00a0Only Murders in the Building<\/em>,\u00a0Fallout<\/em>,\u00a0Nobody Wants This<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Shogun<\/em>\u00a0were nominated.<\/a><\/p>\n
