Netflix<\/a> has been digging heavily into true-crime over the last few years and it\u2019s seemingly paying off.<\/p>\n

In the streamer\u2019s latest data dump \u2013 its\u00a0What We Watched<\/a>\u00a0engagement report \u2013 there are a slew of true-crime series including\u00a0American Murder: Laci Peterson, Worst Ex Ever, Cold Case: Who Killed JonBen\u00e9t Ramsey\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0This Is the Zodiac Speaking<\/em>\u00a0entering its top ten with\u00a0The Menendez Brothers<\/a><\/em> doc leading the list.<\/p>\n

The Menendez Brothers,<\/em>\u00a0the Alejandro Hartmann-directed doc, premiered after Ryan Murphy\u2019s buzzy\u00a0Monsters: The Lyle and Erik\u00a0Menendez\u00a0Story<\/em> series and scored 39.2M views.<\/p>\n

American Murder: Laci Peterson<\/em>\u00a0topped the series list with 37.4M views. That series, which told the story of the murder of the American woman murdered by her husband while she was eight months pregnant. It is part of Netflix\u2019s\u00a0American Murder<\/em>\u00a0strand, which was just responsible for the Gabby Petito three-series that launched this month.<\/p>\n

Worst Ex Ever\u00a0<\/em>romanced 26.1M, two-part doc\u00a0Into the Fire: The Lost Daughter\u00a0<\/em>was watched by 25.1M,\u00a0Cold Case: Who Killed JonBen\u00e9t Ramsey<\/em>\u00a0was watched by 21.7M,\u00a0This Is the Zodiac Speaking\u00a0<\/em>entranced 18.4M and the second season of\u00a0Worst Roommate Ever<\/em> was watched by 14.5M.<\/p>\n

True-crime adjacent series including\u00a0Mr. McMahon<\/em>\u00a0wrestled 13.5M and\u00a0Dirty Pop: The Boy Band Scam\u00a0<\/em>sang to 12.9M.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in unscripted, South Korean cooking competition series\u00a0Culinary Class Wars<\/em>\u00a0made the top 100 with 17.2M,\u00a0The Man with 1000 Kids<\/em>\u00a0fathered 15.9M fans.<\/p>\n

Season seven of\u00a0Love Is Blind<\/em>, which launched in October, was watched by 14.4M.<\/p>\n

These stats were released in Netflix\u2019s\u00a0What We Watched\u00a0report for July to December 2024.<\/p>\n
