The 31st annual\u00a0SAG Awards<\/a>\u00a0have been announced via official press release (after canceling a previously planned livestream<\/a>, due to the fires in Los Angeles), with \u201cWicked\u201d and \u201cSh\u014dgun\u201d leading\u00a0film<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0TV<\/a>\u00a0nominations, respectively, with five nominations each.<\/p>\n

On the film side, \u201cA Complete Unknown\u201d and \u201cEmilia P\u00e9rez\u201d had the second best hauls with four nominations each. Same goes for \u201cThe Bear\u201d on the TV side, which also earned four nominations. In terms of individual nominees, the\u00a0Screen Actors Guild<\/a> feted many surprise nominees, from \u201cThe Last Showgirl\u201d stars Pamela Anderson and Jamie Lee Curtis both being nominated, to Jonathan Bailey getting in for \u201cWicked,\u201d and Kathy Bates becoming a double nominee this year for her roles in \u201cMatlock\u201d and \u201cThe Great Lillian Hall.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to the slate of nominees, actress and activist\u00a0Jane Fonda<\/a>\u00a0will be at the ceremony to receive SAG-AFTRA\u2018s highest tribute, the SAG Life Achievement Award.<\/p>\n

The SAG Awards 2025 will be\u00a0hosted by Kristen Bell<\/a>\u00a0(also a nominee this year for her show \u201cNobody Wants This\u201d), and will stream live globally on Netflix on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025, at 8 p.m. ET \/ 5 p.m. PT from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall.<\/p>\n
