Following Bobby Berk\u2019s exit at the end of season eight, interior designer Jeremiah Brent has joined the group for the upcoming installment.<\/p>\n \u201cThe world is changing. She got the design skills, honey.\u201d<\/p>\n Season nine sees the Fab Five take their talents to Las Vegas and work with people who are looking for a change in their lives.<\/p>\n \u201cNine times the charm! This season,\u00a0Queer Eye<\/em>\u00a0brings its transformative magic to the iconic city of Las Vegas, where the Fab Five, now joined by interior designer Jeremiah Brent, meet a fresh group of individuals ready for a life-changing experience,\u201d the logline reads. \u201cFrom a former showgirl struggling to regain her confidence to a dedicated librarian in need of a change, watch as the Fab Five light up Sin City and transform the lives of their heroes in spectacular Vegas style.\u201d<\/p>\n Each member of the group has a different area of expertise. Tan France serves as the Fab Five\u2019s fashion consultant; Brown is the culture and lifestyle coach; Antoni Porowski is the food and wine guru; and Van Ness specializes in beauty.<\/p>\n The\u00a0Fab Five<\/a>\u00a0will also be going on tour to select cities and bringing the magic of the show to live audiences. They will be celebrating \u201cthe forthcoming season of\u00a0Queer Eye<\/em> with an evening of laughter, self-love and transformation,\u201d according to a press release. \u201cFrom personal stories and unforgettable show moments to surprises and Q&As, it\u2019s a one-of-a-kind experience.\u201d<\/p>\n The newest season follows Berk\u2019s exit and a\u00a0Rolling Stone\u00a0<\/em>expos\u00e9 published earlier this year that claimed\u00a0Van Ness had \u201crage issues.\u201d\u00a0<\/a>It noted that tension among the group is what led to the designer\u2019s departure from the show.<\/p>\n The report cited conversations with three sources, who had worked with the grooming and beauty expert, and described them as \u201cabusive\u201d and a \u201cmonster.\u201d The story also claimed that the environment on the set of the reality show was \u201creally toxic.\u201d<\/p>\n Van Ness, who uses they\/them pronouns, said the article was not \u201creally based in reality but can certainly have a lot of things taken out of context to make you look as bad as possible.\u201d When speaking about how social media users reacted, the beauty expert noted they felt \u201ca lot of people were looking for a reason to hate me.\u201d<\/p>\n While\u00a0Berk told\u00a0Vanity Fair\u00a0<\/em>leaving\u00a0Queer Eye<\/em><\/a>\u00a0was his choice, France said in an Instagram post in March that\u00a0the designer was fired<\/a>, but it had nothing to do with him trying to get his friend, Brent, hired.<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t prop my friend up for the job,\u201d he said in the video. \u201cThey ended up getting it because they were the best person for the job. Am I so happy that they have the job? Uh-huh! I really am, I think they\u2019re going to be incredible on the show.
