Mishel Prada Joins \u201980s Revenge Thriller \u2018Stone Cold Fox\u2019 As Production Begins: <\/h1>\n

EXCLUSIVE: Mishel Prada (The Continental, Vida) joins Kiernan Shipka, Kiefer Sutherland and Krysten Ritter in the action-thriller Stone Cold Fox. Production is currently underway in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

In the \u201980s-set revenge story, the defiant Fox (Shipka) breaks out of an abusive commune in search of her family. But when the queenpin (Ritter) kidnaps her little sister and sends a crooked cop (Sutherland) after her, Fox has no choice but to infiltrate the very place she escaped.<\/p>\n

Prada stars as Frankie, the ex-combat medic who joins forces with Shipka\u2019s character to rescue her kidnapped sister from the abusive commune she once belonged to. Frankie is described as a fierce and skilled former army officer suffering from mental health ramifications from combat who bravely enters the battle against the commune and a crooked cop. She ultimately proves that often family is what you create.<\/p>\n

The film also stars Jamie Chung and Karen Fukuhara.<\/p>\n

Written by Sophie Tabet and Julia Roth, the project will mark Tabet\u2019s directorial debut. Verve Ventures and the UTA Independent Film Group are representing worldwide distribution rights. In addition to Tabet and Roth, producers include Bee-Hive\u2019s Stephen Braun, The Wonder Company\u2019s Eric B. Fleischman, Chris Abernathy and Jonathan Craven. Joe Roth will serve as executive producer.<\/p>\n

Prada is best known for her portrayal of Emma Hernandez in the Starz series Vida from Tanya Saracho. Most recently, she starred in Peacock\u2019s John Wick prequel The Continental as Detective KD Silva. Additional credits include the CW\u2019s Riverdale and the web series Fear the Walking Dead: Passage.<\/p>\n

She is repped by UTA, Megan Silverman Management and Johnson, Shapiro, Slewett and Kole.<\/p>\n
