\u2018Barbie\u2019 Wins Multiple Trophies, Robbie Robertson Honored at 14th Annual Guild of Music Supervisors Awards: <\/h1>\n

Greta Gerwig\u2019s \u201cBarbie\u201d took home multiple awards at the 14th Music Supervisors Guild Awards, held March 3 at Los Angeles\u2019 Wiltern Theatre. The event celebrates outstanding achievement in the craft of music supervision, acknowledging work across film, television, documentaries, advertising, trailers and video games.<\/p>\n

George Drakoulias of \u201cBarbie\u201d won best music supervision for a film budgeted over $25 million and for best song written for and\/or recorded for a film for \u201cWhat Was I Made For?\u201d, which was shared with Billie Eilish and Finneas.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Frankie Pine won two awards for her contributions to the Prime Video series \u201cDaisy Jones and the Six.\u201d Alex Hackford received two awards for his work on Marvel\u2019s \u201cSpider-Man 2\u201d video game.<\/p>\n

The ceremony also featured a posthumous recognition of musician Robbie Robertson, who was given the Icon Award in celebration of his contributions to the music and film industries. Margo Price, Rocco DeLuca and Johnny Sheppard took to the stage for a tribute performance of Robertson\u2019s music.<\/p>\n

A second career recognition went to Allan Mason, who received the Legacy Award for his impact on the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n

Also during the ceremony, Dan Wilson performed \u201cIt Never Went Away\u201d from \u201cAmerican Symphony\u201d and India Carney performed \u201cI Found You\u201d from \u201cThe L Word: Generation Q.\u201d Additionally, spotlight performer d4vd performed \u201cRomantic Homicide.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some of the evening\u2019s presenters included Nia Vardalos, Ben Platt, Noah Galvin, Mark Ronson, Luca Guadagnino, Tyrese Gibson, Crystal Methyd, Freddy Scott, Stephanie Savage, PJ Morton, Ryan Lott of Son Lux, and Volker Bertelmann.<\/p>\n
