\u2018Succession\u2019 Dominates Directors Guild TV Nominations, Again: ICH<\/h1>\n

The final season of \u201cSuccession\u201d was predictably strong in the Directors Guild of America\u2019s television nominations for 2023, taking four of the five nominations in the drama series category. \u201cThe Last of Us\u201d received the final nomination in the category.<\/p>\n

Two years ago, \u201cSuccession\u201d became the first series in 39 years to receive all the nominations in its category. The show received 11 DGA nominations for its four seasons on the air, and has won twice so far.<\/p>\n

In the comedy series category, \u201cTed Lasso\u201d and \u201cThe Bear\u201d received two nominations each, with \u201cBarry\u201d landing the final spot.<\/p>\n

In the limited series or TV movie category, \u201cLessons in Chemistry\u201d took three of the nominations, with \u201cAll the Light We Cannot See\u201d and \u201cDaisy Jones & the Six\u201d filling out the category.<\/p>\n

The DGA also announced nominees in the documentary category, with noms going to \u201cBobi Wine: The People\u2019s President,\u201d \u201cBeyond Utopia,\u201d \u201cKokomo City,\u201d \u201cStill: A Michael J. Fox Movie\u201d and \u201c20 Days in Mariupol\u201d<\/p>\n
