Catherine Davis Joins Antonio Banderas, Jaime King in \u2018Banshee\u2019 (EXCLUSIVE): <\/h1>\n

Catherine Davis has landed a leading role in the upcoming action thriller \u201cBanshee.\u201d She joins a cast that includes Jaime King (\u201cSin City\u201d), Antonio Banderas (\u201cPain and Glory\u201d) and Tommy Flanagan (\u201cSons of Anarchy\u201d).<\/p>\n

The film follows a freelance assassin, codenamed Banshee (King), who is ambushed by Anthony Greene (Flanagan), a powerful mercenary who killed her father and who is now seeking to collect a bounty on Caleb (Banderas), her former black ops mentor. Caleb went underground five years prior, triggering a race against time as Banshee must find and protect Caleb before Greene and his army of hired killers can find him and take him down. Davis will play the role of Hailey, Caleb\u2019s smart, intuitive and curious daughter who has been kept in the dark about her father\u2019s true profession.<\/p>\n

Jon Keeyes directs \u201cBanshee.\u201d The film is produced by Jordan Yale Levine and Jordan Beckerman of Yale Productions, alongside Keeyes of Highland Myst, from a script by Matthew Rogers, who wrote the trio\u2019s previous movie, \u201cThe Survivalist.\u201d Shaun Sanghani also serves as a producer on the film.<\/p>\n

Most recently, Davis starred in the Crypt TV and Facebook Watch series \u201cMira Mira.\u201d Her other credits include producer Dallas Sonnier\u2019s feature film \u201cRun Hide Fight\u201d opposite Thomas Jane, the action thriller \u201cTrauma Center\u201d alongside Bruce Willis, as well as guest starring roles on \u201cMagnum P.I.,\u201d \u201cS.W.A.T.,\u201d \u201cHawaii Five-0\u201d and \u201cAmerican Vandal\u201d for Netflix.<\/p>\n
