Nicki Minaj has made a deal with HBO Max.<\/p>\n
The streamer has ordered a six-episode docuseries on Minaj, which will explore the rapper\u2019s creative mind and tell the story of her personal and professional journey. Minaj herself will guide the audience through the most challenging and fulfilling times in her life in the as-yet-untitled series, each episode of which will be half an hour.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s going to give you guys a raw unfiltered look at my personal life and my professional journey and I can\u2019t wait to share it with you,\u201d said Minaj in announcing the series via social media. News of the show comes on the 10 anniversary of the release of her debut album \u201cPink Friday.\u201d<\/p>\n
The project is directed by Michael John Warren, who made his directorial debut with Jay-Z\u2019s 2004 movie \u201cFade to Black.\u201d Warren has previously worked with Minaj on two documentaries, one of which was pegged to her first album back in 2010.<\/p>\n
Minaj is executive producing alongside Warren and Aaron L. Gilbert, Brenda Gilbert and Cassandra Butcher for BRON Life, as well as Irving Azoff and Tommy Bruce in association with Creative Wealth Media.<\/p>\n

Endeavor Content and BRON Releasing negotiated the series deal with HBO Max.<\/p>\n
