Henson, Natalie Portman, Amandla Stenberg, Matt McGorry and FX Network CEO John Landgraf, who was responsible for transforming FX from the network with the worst record on diversity to the best in less than a year. This Changes Everything premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and will receive an early summer release in theaters and on demand.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the impetus behind the film, Oscar winning actor and This Changes Everything Executive Producer Geena Davis explains, \u201cFor years women in our industry have hoped that with every successful female-driven film, we would move closer toward gender equality. This film highlights the lack of progress and is a call to action toward change once and for all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to help bring this important and timely story to the big screen, and hope it encourages positive conversations that continue to empower women everywhere\u201d said Scott Donley, CEO and Founder of Good Deed Entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>Donahue added, \u201c2019 is a year of urgency in the fight for gender equality. We are excited that Good Deed shares our vision for lasting systemic change on this issue and believe they are ideal partners to amplify this film as an advocacy tool.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The deal for This Changes Everything was negotiated by GDE\u2019s Kristin Harris and Brandon Hill with ICM Partners representing the filmmakers.<\/p>\n<p>CreativeChaos VMG and New Plot Films are the creators behind the doc. Pic was produced by Ilan Arboleda and Kerianne Flynn in association with the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, David Yurman, Regina K. Scully\u2019s Artemis Rising Foundation and Lyft Entertainment. Additional corporate sponsors of the film also include Bloomberg LP, Google and Michael Stars Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>The film was Executive Produced by Ku-ling Yurman, Regina K.
