Logan Lerman & Molly Gordon Movie ‘Oh, Hi!’ Gets Summer Release From Sony Pictures Classics
Sony Pictures Classics is releasing Sophie Brooks’ Oh, Hi! on July 25. The distributor picked up global on the movie out of Sundance earlier this year.
Oh, Hi reps Brooks’ sophomore feature as director and stars Molly Gordon, Logan Lerman, Geraldine Viswanathan, and John Reynolds. In the film, Iris (Gordon) and Isaac’s (Lerman) first romantic weekend getaway as a couple goes awry. Convinced that he’s just confused, Iris goes to extreme lengths to prove to him that they are meant to be together.
Oh, Hi will be playing the Tribeca Festival in June.
The feature is produced by David Brooks, Dan Clifton, Julie Waters, Sophie Brooks, and Gordon. Evan Dyal, Justin Brown, Molly C. Quinn, Matthew M. Welty, Elan Gale, Evan Moore, and Sabina Friedman-Seitz are executive producers.
Sophie Brooks is a London-born, Brooklyn-based writer and director. Her first movie, The Boy Downstairs, was acquired by Film Rise and HBO at the Tribeca Film Festival. It was produced by David Brooks, Paul Brooks and Dan Clifton and starred Zosia Mamet, Matthew Shear and Diana Irvine.
Oh, Hi! will have a limited release on the same weekend when Disney/Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: The First Steps debuts.
