Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Cooper graduated the University of Georgia as an English and Philosophy double major. He then moved to the West Coast to pursue a Juris Doctorate from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law. During his study, Cooper interned with a talent-side entertainment attorney before moving into production-side work with his internship at Ramo Law in 2018.  

After graduating from UCLA in 2020, Cooper joined Ramo Law full time as a law clerk and became an Associate upon passing the California Bar. His areas of focus include production legal drafting, distribution, copyright, and trademark.
