Erika Canchola graduated cum laude from Santa Clara University and received her Juris Doctorate from Boston University Law School, where she focused her legal studies on entertainment law. During law school, she was an Editor for the Public Interest Law Journal and President of the Communication, Entertainment and Sports Law Associate. She also worked for California Lawyer for the Arts, Law Offices of Vinca Jarrett & Associates, and WGBH.
Upon graduation, Ms. Canchola joined Ramo Law full-time as an associate and became a partner in January of 2013. She handles Film Financing (recent films include “Still Alice”, “The Driftless Area” and “Teenage Cocktail”), Corporate Formation, Trademark and Copyright filing, Contract Negotiation, Review and Drafting, Production Financing, and Production Legal (recent projects include “Those Who Can’t” on TruTV, “Grandma”, “Same Kind of Different As Me”, “Mostly Ghostly 3”, “Christine”, “The Invitation”, “Bleeding Heart”, “Fourth Man Out”, “The Stanford Prison Experiment”, “Adderall Diaries”, “Ride” and “Fury”).
