Ramo Law PC launched a music department in March of 2017. The firm hired Chris White as an associate attorney in the newly formed music department to provide comprehensive legal representation to composers, songwriters, recording artists, music producers, and music industry professionals in the way that Ramo Law has for film and television producers over 15 years. Chris also provides music legal services to the firm’s production clients by tackling complex music issues that often arise during the production of audiovisual content with respect to score, soundtracks, music publishing and licensing. Chris worked in the music industry for seven years before attending Southwestern Law School where he focused his studies on music, entertainment, and intellectual property and graduated in the top ten percent of his class. You can read more about Chris’ background and experience here and about Ramo Law’s music legal services here.
